Therapeutic Exercise

What are Therapeutic Exercises 

Therapeutic exercises are movements and physical activities designed to restore function and flexibility, improve strength and decrease pain. At the Athletic Room we call this "Active Recovery" because unlike many of the other Treatments we offer this form of Recovery you are doing the work as our Doctor of Chiropractic Care or our Licensed Athletic Trainer Supervise and Coach you through the personalized exercises hand picked for you and your condition. 

 

Therapeutic Exercises works for both injuries or a chronic conditions.  During your session your therapist will work with you one-on-one to develop a program of therapeutic exercises that promote healing and corrects movement dysfunction.

Why Therapeutic Exercises

Therapeutic exercises may be combined with other types of treatment, such as manual therapy, electrical stimulation or heat and cold therapy. Your treatment plan will progressively build as you heal and gain strength, with the ultimate goal of restoring movement, function and flexibility.

Our goal is to coach you on exercises so that when you are at home or in the gym you can add these exercises into a warm-up or incorporate them into your workout.
